Which breast pump do you have.....
and do you like it? I read in the baby bargains book that the Ameda Purely Yours is just as good as the medela and half the cost. Anyone know anything about this one?

I don't know anything about the Ameda but I have the Medela single electric and I'm pretty happy with it. The only thing I don't like is that it is VERY LOUD.

My mom was a LLL leader for about 30 years and she told me to make sure I registered for the Medela, especially since I'm planning on going back to work and will need to pump a great deal.

This is the one I'll be getting. All of my friends really liked it with the same drawback, its loud.

I have two, the Advent Isis and the Medela. I bought the Isis when we were in Ireland because of the voltage difference I didn't want to invest in an electric pump there and it worked good but I wouldn't want to use that if you had to pump several times a day. I love my medela.

I have this pump and have used it for 6 months now...came recommended by 2 other working/BFing moms...

I have this one also. There nothing discret about it. I used to drape a towel over it to muffle the sound so I didn't have to turn up the TV so much.

I have the Medela double pump in style, the one that comes in a backpack. I loved it and it was worth every penny!
