We get a holiday party at a local place with food and drinks. No guests though. My boss usually gives me $$$ out of his own pocket having nothing to do with the company.

Same for me!
We have a party at the Hard Rock NYC each year, but I don't count that as a gift at all.
Our bonus' are cr*p, as I stated before and I don't consider that a gift either.
I do exchange with the 4 people I work with/for each birthday and christmas but that's not from the company, that is from individuals.

My company treats us really well for the holidays. I am very fortunate. I ususally average 3 parties with cars home. My company bonus and my bankers gifts leave me with no complaints.

Once we got a pen, but we normally get an inspirational poem about teaching on nice printer paper in our mailboxes

we get a Turkey.
i dont know how to cook turkey, so last year, i just gave it to my mom.
the funny thing is- if you check craigslist the day they give 'em out, you'll see tons of free turkeys advertised

They throw a holiday party that we can all bring our spouses too plus I get a bonus worth one week of my salary...not to shabby!

WOW! Some of you have bizarre companies!
Each year our company gives us the gift of "time"...when means they give us extra paid time off and you can either take all of christmas week or all of new years week and not have to use one single vacation day.
I think its the nicest thing in the world.

We get nothing, nada, zilch! We don't get a gift, a bonus, nothing. Sometimes we get a "Happy Holidays" from the big boss. Does that count?
