I'm at the end of pregnancy..carrying so low it hurts...can you help?
I hope you don't mind me asking here! You guys are always very helpful.
I am almost 40 weeks. This baby has been super low the whole time but something has happened within 2 days-meaning he dropped even lower and last night was horrible...i feel as if he'll fall out any second, the pain down there is unbearable.
Did any of you experience this? what did you do for it? Ice packs? I can't believe this is how i feel BEFORE the delivery, lol!
I am just an absolute mess and a zombie to top it off...i know having the baby will help but until then...thanks for any advice!

the only thing that helped was too stay off my feet. rest as much as you can

I didn't go through that, but I have to agree with gresglove... you should rest, cause that baby is coming real soon!

Thanks I'm trying so hard to relax...but this pain "down there" is so bad...i can't get over it. Nothing is helping and this is just so frustrating. I keep wondering if a warm bath might ease it a littlle but not sure...

I know how you feel. Unfortunately the only thing I did was to stay off my feet, like the other ladies have suggested. It was too painful to walk around.

at 41 weeks I felt like my uterus was going to drop out! So hopefully that baby is on its way!

I am surprised that since you are at 40 weeks and in a lot of pain that your doc has not suggested induction. Did you mention the amount of pain you are in? I know my doc was ready to take DD at 38 weeks.

I haven't mentioned how bad it is only because this insane pressure and pain started maybe 2 days ago..before that i've had tons of pressure but nothing i coudln't deal with.
I thought about calling today however I figure i should wait it out until my due date unless it gets unbearable...which is unfortunately where it seems to be heading :( I need major labor vibes!!

I had same thing. I remember thinking how could labor be any worse! So sorry I know exactly how you are feeling. Really nothing helped but relaxing. A bath felt good but was so hard for me to get into and then out of that I didn't do it again. Hang in there. You'll be done before you know it.

I had that feeling for the last 2wks, don't know if this is good advice or not but I got temporary relief from straddling over the toilet bowl
