Wednesday Pepsi Picnic Area (Shea) - Anyone done the free tix?
DH and I and my BF and her FH are going to go tonight but we're not sure if it's even worth trying the picnic area or if we should just buy tickets - anyone done this?
(I felt this was non-Mets enough to stay off the "home team" board since I'm just looking for ticket info and not discussing the team.)

never done this, but if you do, i say get there early
However, I would recommend just buying tix
They are playing the Padres and this isn't considered a big game. Check the schedule for ticket prices. They vary by game.
