hi all! i just learned about this site and am so excited about it. here's a little bit of my story: my husband and i are in the process of IVF right now. in fact we just did the big HCG shot TONIGHT, so our retrieval is coming up on sunday (i think). we had one MC last year, but are really doing IVF because we need to do PGD. we found out we both carry a trait for a genetic blood disorder and hopefully PGD will help us to have a healthy baby.
i have read so many of your posts and i wish everyone on this board boundless hope, good wishes, and baby dust!

You do realize that nothing is sacred anymore, right? We expect to be updated on the retrieval, on the transfer, and on all the little "symptoms' afterwards...!!

thank you all soooo much for the warm welcome! and thank you judy for adding my name to the prayer.
my latest news: i went to the doctor's office this morning (LI IVF in lake success) and they are all very excited there because things are looking really good. i have between 20-30 follicles  . i'm really excited but very worried about crossing that fine line into hyperstimulation. they told me to drink gaterade and tomorrow morning i go to mather hospital in port jeff for the retrieval.
as far as symptoms today: i feel very tired with alot of pressurey, crampy, very aware of my ovaries-type of feelings.
