How long did it take you to get your blood test results back after your 1st pre-natal visit?
They took 9 viles of blood. I thought I was going to pass out.

no fair i had 11!!! lol - it to me a little over a week but one test took over 2 weeks.

They took 4 vials from me on August 4th...I have not heard anything from them yet. I assume they would only contact you if they found something worth discussing. I am assuming no news is good news. I go back on the 28th for my u/s

It made me nervous they were taking so much. Plus when I looked at the list of the stuff they were looking for I got even more nervous. I am a bit of a hypochondriac, so that is one of my biggest fear!

I think I went in at 7 weeks to meet with the OB nurse- that is when they took the bazillion vials of blood.
then at 8 weeks I saw my OB and she went through the results.

the next doctors appt., the doctor just told me everything was fine. I wasn't even paying attention when they initally told me what everything was for.

Different doctors do things differently, but mine only contact me if there is a problem. Since my results revealed nothing unusual, I got my results at the next appointment.
