New Mom!!!!

HI girls...

I delivered Anthony Joseph on 9/22 c-section and he was 9 pounds 15 ounces!!!!!

Last night was our first night home and he was up every hour, HUNGRY!!

I was feeding him 2 ounces but then gave him 3 ounces. After the feedings he was WIDE awake...

He slept from 3:45a.m through 6:45a.m... I fed him and he went back to sleep at 7:45...

Did most of your babies wake up alot the first few nights home or did they sleep for 3-4 hours at a time?

TIA!

Just nervous....

Andrew woke up the first few nights all the time. And he was crying a lot. But it didn't last very long. He soon was sleeping and eating every 3-4 hrs.

Re: New Mom!!!!

I am very happy with 3-4 hours of sleep time....BUT my son was up from 11:00 p.m. through 3:45 a.m....and wanted to eat every hour. After we fed him at 3:45a.m. he slept until 6:45a.m and then went back to sleep at 7:45a.m and is still sleeping.....(very happy about this)

I guess I am surprised that he was up for that long amount of time...

Thanks girls!

Re: New Mom!!!!

Every baby is different but don't worry Ro, that is perfectly normal. Dom slept a few hrs at a time and ate every 3 hours but the first couple of weeks are the adjustment period so everything is all off balance...CONGRATS again Mama, I am so happy for you and proud of you!Chat Icon
