White Pants after Labor Day?
I've heard different things on this from my friends. I have these white cropped pants from jcrew that I want to wear to school next week - ok or fashion NO?
They are like the picture only, mine hit at the ankle.

i love them!!! im definately not a fashion expert, but i never really thought much of the whole 'no white pants after labor day' theory, and most articles say that its all fair game now anyway  Then again, the main reason why that even started was because, back in the day, they thought that white reflected heat, so if you wore white pants, you wouldnt be warm- and thats how that 'fashion rule' was born

i, personally, cannot pull of the "look" of white pants or shoes....nothing white on the bottom looks right on me. but who cares what the fashion police say? wear them if you like them

i'm one of those sticklers for the "no white after labor day" people. Winter white is one thing, but i'll never wear regular white pants or shoes after labor day.

It's also ok to wear white before Memorial Day too.
I won't wear white pants period, because I am a slob. But if I did, I'd wear them whenever.
