Of course its NOTHING close to yours  but its quite a few steps ahead of the 2yr old one Ive been using! its one of those teeny tiny Canon ones...
I told john I wanted one a few months ago, and he was like "you dont need one, you'll just break that one too" since I dropped our current camera twice at Hershey alone 
So yes, today was my birthday (and my sister's  ) Our ritual is to spend the day together, even if we just do nothing, we have to be together. This morning, we took her girls with us to get mani/pedicures/eyebrows, while daddies stayed here with FIVE kids, then we all had takeout from our fave chinese/japanese restaurant (we figured taking 7 kids ages 7 and under was NOT an idea of a "dinner treat" At a restaurant!  so at home worked out much better.. then we took the kids to the beach to throw rocks in the water and collect seashells.....
So I hope to post pics taken with my new camera soon
*** WEll here's a pic taken with the new camera (but of course touched up ) what a workout getting the perfect shot, bribing big brothers, making sure baby was safe, keeping them from pinching or poking him, he was calm as ever the whole time Image Attachment(s):
