What questions do you ask your doctor...

... at normal doctor visits???? I always have a list of things to ask them and than forget once I get into the office!

Off the top of my head, this is what I've asked:

Induction policy -
how many days post due date will they let you go
After your water breaks, how long will they let you go w/o inducing you.

Hospital affiliations? You probably would know this one already

Midwives/Doulas (if you're going that route) - have they worked with them before? What is the hospital's policy on using them?

How many people do you allow in the delivery/labor room? ie you want your mom, your DH plus a doula may be too many

Natural childbirth (if this is important to you) - what experience have they had with it? have they had patients they took Bradley/Lamaze? how did they fare?

C-section - their rate of C-sections vs national average

I usually write down any questions I have so I don't forget. For your first appt, they gave me a little folder full of information which of course answered a lot of the general questions.
