Another Clear Blue monitor question.
Ok so i am becoming a BIG PAIN IN THE *** i kow and I am sorry...
But heres teh situation.. I have posted over the last week I just started using teh monitor. It was someone elses but it appeared to have reset itself.I tested starting day 6 and on day 9 got two bars now its day 20 and all i keep getting is two bars never three. Now i know people have said i may not have ovulated and i understand that but my question is this...
The monitor gives you two bars when there is a start to a surge of this chemical in your body right? So now that i obviously didnt ovulate or whatever why am i still getting highs should it eventually go back down as I approach my peiod which is due in 6 days next monday. Correct me if i am wrong but i thought the monitor shows one bar in the beginning ( which it did from day 6-9) Then it shows two bars for a while then three at your peak and then eventually would go back down to one 1?
Sorry so many questions and LONG posts.I am going crazy with this thing.
Thanks

Re: Another Clear Blue monitor question.
If I remember correctly, the monitor takes a while to learn your system. If this is the first month that you are using the monitor than it would explain the problems you are running into. I remember that when I first started using the monitor, maybe the first month or two. I got ten straight days of high but never did get peak (even with very obvious positive OPK's) Once the monitor learned my system I got one bar than 3(ish) days of high than 2-3 of peak and then it went back to one bar and stopped asking for tests. I know not the answer you want to hear, but, give it another cycle or two and it should be better.

Re: Another Clear Blue monitor question.
What happened to Debg, is what happened to me, my first cycles using the monitor.
The double bar doesn't really mean that much....once the monitor knows you, the double bar will mean, that you are within a week of your regular O. The double bars basically mean, that you should....bd....because O could happen soon.
I would definitely temp/chart....so that you can see that you probably did ovulate. Use opks in addition to the monitor for the first few cycles.
