Car Baby Mirrors??

Hi,

We got the safefit Baby In Sight Mirror from BRU. However, it keeps falling down because the glue is not sticking. DH says it is from the heat.

Does anyone else have this problem. i think I need to return it to BRU. I am just not sure if I should get another one or another brand.

Please help me decide,
TIA,
Denise

Re: Car Baby Mirrors??

I just put mine in the other day and after blasting the AC it finally suctioned to the window. I also tried putting up a BRU window shade (also has suction cups) and that darn thing wouldn't stay up for anything! It's definitely the heat. Once you are finally able to get it good and suctioned, it should stay, so don't return it just yet.

But do you have the same mirror I do? The Baby in sight one? That has glue, not suction cups. I don't understand how AC would help the glue from not melting? I thought the glue was melting from the sun, not the heat. I wil have to tell DH that.

I got mine from BRU as well it is from safety first. I sits over the seat and it has a light around it so that you can see the baby at night. it even has a remote control. It sits with velcro in many diff positions depending on the type of car.

Denise, I have the same one as you and we had the same problem. It was so frustrating. We clipped the strap up using those clips you use in the office to hold a bunch of papers together. It worked.

Re: Car Baby Mirrors??

I had the same problem with the glue not sticking what I did was get velcro and I velcro'd the sticky part to the carpeted part behind the seats and it stayed that way
