41 weeks on Thursday....and getting induced !
I went to Dr. today, I am 2cm dilated and they are going to induce me on Thursday @ St. Charles hospital, so unless I go today or tomorrow, Katie's Birthdate will be September 14th !
Are there any cons to being induced ?
I am a nervous wreck

I think everyone's experiences are different. Some women have great experiences, while some can experience longer labor.
I was supposed to be induced at 41 weeks also. Two days before the induction I decided to call my doctor and tell her I didn't want to be induced. The next day I woke up in labor on my own.
I read "The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth" by Henci Goer, Rhonda Wheeler, which helped me decide that I didn't want to be induced. The book is a great reference and gave pros/cons of all OB procedures and interventions.

Hopefully you'll go into labor on your own before then , but either way you are going to meet your  soon.. how exciting for you!

Hopefully you go before that!! I don't know if I could wait anymore after Tuesday so I would do the same thing as you.
I am looking forward to your St Charles review, that's where I will deliver too

I was induced.
It was also at St Charles - let me just tell you the nurses were AWESOME!!!
OK - I am not sure, but are you planning on getting an epidural?

Ok - then my advice to you is - not matter how much your contractions hurt wait for the epidural.
They had to give me the demoral (sp?)
and that made me loopy and I do not remember alot of my labor. In a way it was good, but I sooooooo did not like the feeling.
So please try and hold out as long as you can. They give you the epidural when you hit 4 cm
