A little early but...
where did you all go for Christmas pics last year and were you happy? May I see so I can get some ideas?

I went to Kiddie Kandids. My girls were only 7 weeks & no I wasn't thrilled. They said they can only do 2 poses or whatever. But, I do love everyone elses photos from there.

We went to Target and got 3 good shots. She was only about a month and a half old so she slept through half of them and then cried through the other half -- so we didn't get as many shots as I'd have liked. Lemme see if I can dig them up to post them. Image Attachment(s):

thanks girls. mel, that's precious. which target has a photo studio? did they have someone holding her or was that you?

We went to Kiddie Kandids and we went at the end of November to avoid the crowds, which we did. Though I loved our pictures, we ended up using one of our own photos for holiday cards. Here's one of the pics from KK: Image Attachment(s):

i dont take my kids anywhere for their christmas pic. i do them right in my home. i always come up with a new shot, its free, and i can get them right at their best time of day without fighting crowds.

that was me holding her. there were 2 others that we liked but i can't seem to find them. they are on my old computer which is at the FIL's house now.
we went to the target in levittown. we've actually been there twice nw and we have an appointment for saturday for her 1 year photos -- which i'm not sure if we are going to be able to make or not but i am going to try and make it.

this has got to be one if not the best christmas photo i have ever seen.

I like the idea of doing them at home, but I'm short on ideas of how to make them look festive this far in advance. What did you do to set the scene?
