used tires- where to purchase... why i need used..
My lease is up in Oct.. My tires definately need to be changed but I am not buying new ones espcially since I have to turn in the car. They ARE pretty shot and I think Nissan will make me pay to replace them.
Where would be a place to get a deal on a decent set of 4 Nissan Pathifinder tires??? TIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a place called House of Tires on Hempstead Tpke in Levittown. I have gotten used tires from there (pretty much same reason as you) and they were pretty cheap.

I've gotten used tires at the junkyard before. They are really cheap.
I went to the one in Freeport, but I can't remember where it was.

All up 4th Avenue and Atlantic Avenue/Flatbush Avenue are thousand's of tire shops that will replace your tires...about $25 each.

i will be driving the car another month and a half. it has to pass my inspection next month and Nissan inspection???

You can pretty much tell by looking at the treads of the tires. If they look really run down and flat almost, then NO, dont waste your money.
Otherwise, you should be OK. They should be honest with you anyways! Let them know you will be driving for another month or so and need them to last that long.
Im sure theyre not gonna sell bad ones. But ya never know?
