Boiler Question - Levittown owners click here
Question: How do you turn the boiler on and off in the Levitt house?? At the moment it is off. I will need it on to heat up the hot water.
There is a red switch on the left side of the door near the bathroom that says "in case of an emergency", is this the switch I use to turn it on and off, or is there a switch on the boiler itself? Thanks, Scott

Re: Boiler Question - Levittown owners click here
I believe that switch should be behind the stairs. the previous homeowners here removed the door so we have to go through the space under the stairs to get to the burner, its a pain but I dont have that door but I do have a switch for the burner. There is also a switch on the burner to restart it but I think that it is used in emergencies.

There is a cutoff switch right next to the boiler in the house i am buying. I would imagine that turns off the boiler and overrides anything the thermostats or hot water faucets throw at it.
