Hi everyone! New to the boards and a new TTCer. Is it true there are only 5 days out of the month you can get pregnant?

Well technically it's could just be 12 hours :)
The egg lives approximately 12-24 hours. However, if you bd (have sex) prior to ovulation,....a few days before, the sperm may live a few days in your tubes if the environment is 'ideal".
