things are changing too fast!
so far this week...
My Dad told me he is selling the house and buying a condo is Florida- he is already there
and My Sister applied to grad schools all over the world and got into John Hopkins in Maryland and is 95% sure she is going- maybe even for summer school!
and since my brother already lives in florida
I am the only one left on Long Island
I am a little sad about all this

I can totally understand how you are feeling. Sometimes change comes so unexpectedly that it cathes us by surprise. Just try to look at the brighter side of it. You have your SO & your friends. Take it one d ay at a time and cherish the good times you have had w/ them and make an effort to make every day a good one!

Definitely a lot to process all at once. I think you need a one change per week rule for your family.

seriously- I have to tell them to slow down
this is just this week
last week my Brother got enagaed- which is great
and my Dad snapped out if it and dumped his horrible girl friend
so I guess I have to talk the good with the bad

how's you DH feeling?
I am- i am really happy for my sister- she is bored here and is miserable
I am just going to miss her- i would never tell her I don't want her to go
the head guy at Stony Brook actually told Jake he is "too Strong" for surgey and being in pain is the not a reason to have the operation
so he is figuring out which doctor he wants to go see- I think it's going to be the hosptilal for special surgey- thank you so much!

Hope your DH is better soon!
And while it'll be hard, it's nice that your dad will be in a sunny, lovely place that you'll enjoy visiting. At least he didn't move to Kansas! (not that there's anything wrong with Kansas)

your right- I can't wait to go see my Dad now- now that that woman is back up here
and I can go visit my sister as well-
it's just strange to think that less then 2 years ago my parents house was full of life- and now it's empty
( my Mom died 18 months ago)

that's what we thought- esp since Jake is HUGE- and very strong- but he isn't as strong as he used to be
and of course he is stronger then the Doctor who he had about 80lbs on
