How long for the milk to dry up?

I breastfed for a week but then decided it wasn't for me....so now I am just wondering how long it will take for the milk to dry up so I can get rid of these watermelons!

My milk dried up about 4 days after giving birth. It was soooo painful you won't be able to miss it-lol!

Re: How long for the milk to dry up?

Mine dried up fairly quickly.. I would say about 3-4 weeks. For me it was only painful the first few days... I was so tempted to pump to release the pressure.
