baydside or queens girls i have a question...
I lived in bayside the alst six years but there is a restaurasunt on bell but over by 73rd Ave( near wondsor oaks) that is a brick over pizza place and i cant picture the name. i wanted to know if you know the name and also is it any good and if there is parking. I know im a pain but we are looking for someplace to go for our anniversary( when we are felling better anyway) thast not to $$$

The food is very good -I go there often (I live very close!! - where is bayside are you?)
Its a pizza place in the front and a restaurant in the back. If you are looking for something romantic - it might not be the place...but if you are looking for something more low key its great. (I usually just go for pizza.)
There is another low key italian place I can recommend on union Tpke by st. Johns - the food is a little less expensive and a little better in my opinion. Would you like that info?

wel imoved lsyt year when i got married but 6 yrs ago my mom and i moved form the house we(she) owned in woodside to bay terrace a condo in teh bayside townhouses on corp kennedy.
Sure wqht place is it Anthonys on union i was there very good..

Ah - we are neighbors!
This place is very good - low key italian - not pricey - food is GREAT! (I highly recommend the pollo montecarlo)
on union tpke
You have to park on the street but I almost never have a problem parking - we go there a lot.

We've eaten at Villa Rustica a few times and I think the food is very good. We won't go back, however, because the service has been HORRIBLE. We have waited long periods of time, just to get our drinks (and also our check) while waitresses chat with friends and I don't think there have been enough people working anytime we have been there. We are definitely not high maintenance and just go to our local pizzaria instead, which has table service.
I would go in for takeout, but am very hesitant to go back to eat there. They do have a huge parking lot in the back.
ETA: I have also been to the place MrsR recommended near St. John's and we liked it very much as well.
