How do you calculate the mortgage payment?
I want to know the formula to do it myself, not using an online mortgage calculator. I feel so dumb that I don't remember how to do this! 
For example: $250,000 mortgage at 6.5% = ?
Principal & Interest only payments is what I'm looking for. TIA!

I *think* you need an armatorization (sp?) calculator...do calculate the interest.

you could get an approx # for every 100k you borrow its about $650.

Okay - I figured that part out. Now how do you figure out the APR? Again, not looking for an online calculator. Is there a formula in Excel that works?
