I don't exchange with my boss and we are both happy with that. We are in the public sector, so if I got anything it would be small. I prefer trading a small gift for the hassle of not having to get her one.
I do get small things for the secretaries - because they do it for me.

Nothing!! 
Last year I got him wine in a really cool wine carafe thingy and he never even said thanks!!
To add to that, he got me nothing AND the wine was still under his desk 4 months later!!
So he gets nothing....and he'll love it!

I just bought presents today actually. I went to the Christmas shop and got a 14" high Santa Claus Statue for her mantle and an ornament for her tree.

I always give my boss wine... he really has everything (hell he's a frikkin millionaire) and I know he loves his vino.. so its a safe bet

I have 3 attorneys that I work for (2 woman and a man). I brought a basket of Ghardelli (sp?) chocolate for one of the woman I work and this for the other
And the man (a partner) I am going to have this basket of cookies sent to his house since he is married and has 2 little boys.

I have no idea - I work for a husband/wife owner team, and we always buy them something as a group.
2 yrs ago, it was Omaha Steaks.
Last year, I got wine and goblets and some ornaments and a dinner GC and put it all in a basket for them.
This year, I'm not coming up w/ anything - someone else can do it!

Ditto. My boss asked me to not give him anything years ago. But if I bake, I'll bring in a bunch of cookies for him to bring home.

I was thinking of making him a basket of all different chocolate (his first love) but if he rubs me the wrong way Jerry will be making him something that looks like chocolate

My boss gives me $350 each year - GC to someplace cool lilke Coach. So I do something small for him. he loooves chocolate so maybe I'll make a big ole basket of chocolate stuff for him.
