Had my 38 week appt...

My belly is now measuring 45 weeks. We'll see if it really means anything or not soon enough!

Just while I was in the waiting in the waiting room at the drs office I had 4 Braxton Hicks contractions and then while in the room waiting for the doctor I had 4 more. I have never had so many so quickly. This morning I had a painful pressure down in my pelvic/pubic bone area that went down my right leg, but that went away after a little while and hasn't returned, and then yesterday I had some painful pressure which was accompanied by lower back pain but that also went away fairly quickly. I guess all of this is nothing. Probably just the way the baby is sitting. There's nothing for me to do about them anyway because I'm having a c-section either way. I'll either go into labor or have the scheduled c-section on Monday. It's just a waiting game now!

You scheduled a c/s? Did you have one with Caiden?

Yes I did have one with him because of his size. He was 10lb 12oz. This baby has been measuring even bigger than he was all along so a repeat c-section is highly recommended. They even had trouble getting his head out during the c-section because it was sooo big. This baby's head is measuring in the 99% as of last week. It's only a repeat because of the size. I just don't want to risk anything. I'd rather go with the safer option.
