I miss my wedding rings
So I finally had to give up my wedding rings last night. They have been getting increasingly snug and yesterday I noticed my ring finger was getting really red and starting to blister! I figured I'd better take it off before it needs to be cut off! My hand feels so naked now.

awww They'll be back!
I had to take mine off at 36 weeks, and i had them back on 2 weeks after i had the baby.
I bought temp ring from amazon for 50 bucks, it was a white gold plain band. I didn't want to feel like an unwed, really pregnant girl. I was getting looks without the band on! Like i didn't feel bad enough

I stopped wearing mine too. Some days they were fine, others they were really snug. So I just gave in a took them off. I'm going to buy a cheapie so I don't feel like an unwed mother.

My mom had to have her wedding band cut off when she was pregnant with me!
Just before the wedding, she found the cut ring and we had it sized, soldered, buffed and dipped. We used it in our ceremony and I wear it on my right hand!
You will get it back on before you know it!

My rings were really tight last weekend, but the past few days have been better ..
But I have a feeling in a week or two, they will be WAY too snug and I dont want to risk them getting stuck -
I am def. going to buy a cheapie piece of 'bling' just to make myself feel less depressed about it

This is so funny for 2 reasons!:
1. My rings have been increasingly tighter as the weeks have gone on. I will most likely start to wear my E ring on my left had and wear the ring I got married in with it (It is a plain platinum ring that I never got sized). I will soon have to temporarily retire the eternity band!
2. Last week when I was in Aruba I didn't wear my rings one day, left them inthe safe. With all the lotions and everything it wsa just easier. Well, that is the day we decided to go into town! Al the jewelry store owners kept giving DH looks. Here is this married man (he wears his ring!) on vaca with his unmarried, pregnant girlfried (at least that is the story DH and I made up  ) I was really waiting for one of them to say to him "just buy her a ring for goodness sakes!"

That is the exact reason I waddled my butt to the flea market when I was PG and got a fake wedding band to tide me over until I could put mine back on.

I am remembering how my sister made my BIL buy her a new ring when she was pregnant so nobody would think she was an unwed mother.  I was like come on now...and if you were? WHO CARES!

Whatever you do...don't put them back on!! I kept getting "poor knocked-up teen mom" looks on the subway and tried to put my rings back on in a hormonal fit...
Once I squeezed them on I was like Uh-oh and managed to pull off my e-ring...no such luck with my wedding ring, so a very nice gentleman at fortunoff cut it off for me  amidst many more hormonal tears...
It didn't help that my fingers went from a 3 1/2 to a 7 in like two weeks...what was I thinking???
