Spinoff to kissing... When you run into certain people do
you give them a kiss.. no family or close friends but acquaintances
for example, when I go into work- bartending, i uusally say hi and will give a cheek kiss to my partners I work with... If the owners come in, other staff etc I will give them one also...
I would NEVER do that at school as a teacher on a daily basis...
I also do it when i run into people I havent seen in awhile as well as well as friends I see often.....

Yeah....just friends I haven't seen in awhile...now that I think about it my friends and I give a cheek kiss everytime we see each other

hmmm got me thinking...
When I was bartending you kissed everyone (well maybe not everyone) but the staff bartenders, the waitresses, the shot girls, the bouncers ( ) the DJ, the owners, the promoter, the radio DJ if there was one there, and even some of the really good regulars. I would soooo never do this at my office job.

I forgot the regulars... Yep they get kisses too!  glad I am not the only one...

Same here...but I used to do the cheek kiss thing when I saw co-workers at a christmas party or an evening event. Weird.

I have a friend that I cheek kiss that when I give him a kiss and make the pucker-up kissing noise associated with the cheek kiss--he doesn't make any noise. He just puts his cheek to your cheek with no noise. It's so weird!!!!! All you hear is yourself.
