Restaurants near Roosevelt Mall
My dh will be going out to dinner tonight and might go to Roosevelt Mall to shop. Can anyone give me some good places to go to eat around there? Thanks!

Don Juan (mexico.... just east on old country road)
ruth's chris (steak house- expensive)
cafe formaggio (never tried it... it used to be cafe Spazzo)
Dave's famous
chilis
macaroni grill
cozy mel's
what type are you looking for? theres TONS of places there

there is that Cafe my Dicks i forget the name
if you are up to go to the Source Mall there are a ton of restuarants there as well
ETA..the Cafe was Houstens..just saw that in another post

We don't know yet. He wants to go shopping though with bday money so I thought that might be a good place to go without the kids. Thanks so much!

The Grand Luxe Cafe is right near the outskirt of the mall, as is Gasho. There's another eating place right there too and I can't remember the name off hand. Just up the road at the Source mall there is the Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs. There's Ruby Tuesday's and California Pizza Kitchen on Old Country Road, as well as other places.

If you are going to restaurants around Roosevelt Field on a Saturday night, you will wait a long time to sit. I suggest making sure you are seated before six.

 I think she meant to write Cafe by Dicks (the sporting goods store).

We love Legal Seafood - It's attached to Roosevelt Field.

just my opinion but i ate at the place thatsued tobe cafe spasso and was not impressed at all. i say go to Baci instead for italian.Also like it was mentioned Cheesecake Factory, Grand Lux, Houstons

West End Cafe is not as crazy as places so close to the mall - it's not a chain, and the food is excellent.
Glen Cove Rd. just north of the train tressel, in a shopping center on the right side.
Voted Top 10 by Zagat's and Newsday.

We have gone to Legal Sea Foods a few times and I liked it there....
They do great woodfired grilled fish and they also have wine samplers -- where you get a few glasses of wine to try....and that was kinda fun since I couldn't decide what wine to get.
I also LOVE Cozymel's which is in back of the Source Mall...
