EDD question
My last period was July 1st, which would make me about 7 weeks...but I had a sono last week and they only saw the gestational sac and a tiny little speck of a baby inside it so going by the sono they thought I was only 3.5 weeks. How do I figure out which it is?
TIA

Re: EDD question
Im not sure. my experience at 6 weeks was I too had a small speck in the sac but when she zoomed in on it you can see it flickering- the heartbeat and going strong, they never said I was anything less or more, I was right on target. and I mean it was small, on my sono pic its a dot. did they zoom in on it? oh she said had I come in a few days earlier they wouldnt be able to see anything, so I dont know if by 3.5 weeks you can see it?

THat is what I thought...I have another one scheduled for the 24th and they said they would be able to see everything clearer by then. I am just curious because I was told that you only ovulate between 12-15 days after your period and that is how you know how far along you are by the first day of your last period.

Re: EDD question
How long is your menstraul cycle? EDD are only accurate by you lmp if you are very regular, appr every 28days. You generally ovulate about 2 wks before your period so that is why there can be inconsistencies.

Re: EDD question
See my cycles are short. I usually ovulate around day 10. Not everyone ovulates the same time time. It all depends on the length of your cycle..
