DS slept for 8 hours last night!
I'm sure it's just a fluke, but I am praying that he keeps this up! He slept from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am! Of course I woke up at 4:00 am in a panic, wondering why he hadn't woken up yet.

How old is he?
I never know if I should be waking my son up to eat, or let him sleep, and he will wake up when he is hungry.
The Dr. said to wake him up if it goes past 4 hr.

I am wondering too! Alyssa is sleeping 4.5-5 hrs a night. Id love to get 8 out of her!!! lucky you!!! thats great!!! I am FF and tried giving her an extra ounce before bed last night - - didnt help AT ALL

My DD has been sleeping 8-10 hours a night since 2 months old, i BF. I thought the first couple times it was a fluke too, and didn't tell anyone cause I didn't want to jinx it
Ria-check with your ped, my ped said i didn't have to wake her after she was 4 weeks old for feedings.

Ria-check with your ped, my ped said i didn't have to wake her after she was 4 weeks old for feedings.
**Ria - my ped sadi not to wake her at night for a feeding if she wants to sleep. anytime after 10pm and 8 am was fine to let her go ...she will wake if she needs to wat he said.

He will be 6 weeks old tomorrow and I am formula feeding. I think it was a one-time thing, though. He slept for five hours last night, but that's still pretty good. Especially since DH got up for the 4:00 am feeding!

He's doing good chances are he will continue with this pattern. My DD was 6 weeks when she started sleeping through night
