Has anyone had prenatal photos taken professionally?
I really want to for my own scrapbook but DH thinks I'm crazy. I wouldn't show anyone but it is something that I really always wanted to do. I think they are so beautiful.

My husband is an amateur photographer and took some Demi Mooreish b&w pics of me. I absolutely love them and I am so glad I did them. I wanted to remember how beautiful my body looked and what a miracle the process was. I think you should do them!

I had Barbara (Nrthshgrl) take some of me yesterday. I will post some later today!  I am not too comfy in front of a camera, so if she hadn't offered to do the, I most likely wouldn't have gotten them done. But I love that I have them now!

I want to have them done for the same reason as you. I was in the mall this weekend and they do them at Glamour Shots. I made an appt. but I think I'm going to cancel because the package is over $100.  It comes with way too many pictures. I just want 1 or 2 for us to have. I certainly don't need an 8x10, 2-5x7s, 4-4x6s and a bunch of wallets. If I can't just get one or two shots, I'm not wasting my money. I don't think they're they type of picture you give out to others. DH and I want one for us to remember.
Does anybody know anyplace else to go that does these?

I didn't have them done since I'm not comfortable with how I look not pregnant, let alone pregnant. I have DH take belly pics of me every 4 weeks, that's enough for me.
But if I was more confident I'd probably have them done.

I am going to Glamour Shots. I received a coupon. Everything is free. If you want to buy pics they have a small set for $40. That is what I will do.

Be careful I vaguely remember someone posting what a scam glamour shots was. She got 1 print because it was thousands of dollars for more.
Have fun though. If I wasn't such a heffer before I got pregnant I would definitely have gotten them done.

I had our wedding photographer, Patken, do mine @ 7.5 months and I LOVE them. They are so sweet and something I'll always cherish. I always took my own belly pics every 2-3 weeks but the ones from him are just amazing!

you don't have to buy a package.....you can buy individual sheets!! I did sexy photos for our 1 yr ann. and bought 6 8 x 10's...I think i found an online deal, no sitting fee and a free 8 x 10

Yes. I had Jackie from Mark Kauffman's Studio take them. I did not do enlargement, just full size proofs. I have 2 framed in my bedroom next to Molly's announcement. The others are away in a scrapbook. I got about 50 proofs- b/w & color.I did not give them out to anyone.
None were naked. I did show my belly in a few though. I cherish them. Worth every penny for us.
