Please keep my family in your prayers...UPDATE ON BOTTOM!
I just recieved a phone call from my father (who is a sr. chief in the us navy) letting me know.. he recieved a one way ticket today and has been activated...
I couldnt even breath, and still find myself in disbelif to what Im writing...
He dosent know where he's going..and I have no idea when he's leaving.. I immediately started crying, and hung up on him... Im just not ready to come to reality with this whole situation...
The baby is coming in 2 weeks...and I cant believe he is going to miss it...
I havent spoken to my mom or brothers about it yet...for Im sure there not handling this info well either...
I just dont know what to do with myself, and how to get through this....

Marissa, I am so sorry. I will pray that your baby is born before he has to leave!!! That is so awful for you and for him!!!!

I feel so bad for you-- you have been dealing with the PUPPS and the huge decision that you just made, and now this!
Hang in there, and always come on here for support/venting!

Oh Marissa sweetie, please try to stay calm , for baby Ryan's sake and for your own health
I know how upsetting this is to think your Dad is perhaps not going to be here when your baby is born, but please think positive for now. you do not know for sure when he'll be sent away, so maybe he will be here right when the baby is born nd he wil get to meet Ryan for a little while before shipping out. But also remember even if he is called away before the birth, he will have many many years to enjoy his grandson and see him grow up , so hopefully that will just help you get over this hurdle and keep you in a positive frame of mind

Thanks everyone!
This has been exremely hard on me and my family..I dont quite know what to do with myself...
My mom has kinda locked herself away for a the past 2 days, my one brother has not even uttered a word about it, and my little one is distraught...so I just pray the initial shock wheres off soon, so we can start getting passed this...
On a slightly happier note..there is a possibility my father may be here for the birth of my little boy, just by the skin of his teeth..
Ill know for sure next week when the DR chooses the date to induce me, and my father learns more about when he is leaving...
He is getting sworn in Oct 4th... I know I wont be induced til after the 6th..so Im hoping he can either push it back..or leave a couple days late...
Please keep us in your prayers..and thanks again!

Unfortunately my father got his "mission".. In 10 days he will be leaving and going over to Iraq...He will be gone one year and 6 weeks...
I just cant believe this is happening.. and Im so not strong enough to deal with this right now!!!
