For those that got the Japanese Straightening...
I'm doing it!! I'm sooo excited I can't wait!! I'm going in about 4 weeks!!
So my question is - did they cut your hair that day? I'm thinking of trimming my ends with my regular stylist before I go but I won't bother if they are going to trim regardless.

Sandra, I just wanted to ask to see before and after shots!!!!!!! I've been DYING to do this, too, but am chicken still. Maybe you can convince me.

If im not mistaken, they only cut it if you ask them to. It's a very long process, especially if you have very curly hair. Good Luck with it. I wanna see pics.

I have been getting it since it came out- you are going to love it
I would wait to get your hair trimmed that day- b/c it will hang better if you get it trimmed after you get it done- and sometimes the ends get yucky from the process!

I've gotten it done several times as well... def. wait to get your hair trimmed after.
Seriously doing this will change your life 
I can't wait until after my pregnancy to get it done again! I'm going nuts right now... I have to use a flat iron again since it's growing in and it's all wavy on top

I don't have any before pics because I used to flat iron and blow out my hair every day... (yes I am a lunatic and I hate my annoyingly wavy unbalanced hair)
But I do *kinda* have an after pic in my profile. That pic was taken in April and I got it done in October. My hair is still super straight but you can see where it is growing in right by my scalp. (I got it re-done right after that trip) So I hope that helps a bit...

I want to do this so badly but I am such a chicken.
Maybe I can post a pic of my hair in its natural form, never seen out in the world before.
It is so frizzy and course. I am scared to see how the chemicals will react. But I swear so much work goes into taming this mop.

Yea it kinda helps.... but then again, I'm waiting to hear from someone who's had it done that has very similar hair to mine.... annoying spiral curly hair...

Wow Cher - I thought you had naturally straight hair!! That means they did a great job!
Lichi - I blow my hair straight constantly now so it's basically always straight unless I just got out of the shower! ...do you want to see a before curly pic or how it looks when I straighten it? Actually, I guess I should do both.
I'm worried about my ends...that's my biggest fear...that they are going to look fried.
Change my life? That's I'm hoping for!!! I'm so done with spending an hour blow drying my hair every other day!!

I saved so much time getting ready... seriously I gained an hour everyday!
Oh and I Especially when it is humid out... NO FRIZZIES!! My hair stays pin straight.

If you have curly shots, that'd be best... then again, if it takes you 1hr to blow out, I think I have an idea how curly your hair is... less than mine, it would take me TWO hours to blow out mine!  
I'm excited for ya, though! I hope it works out great, and you can finally convince me!
