Would you return a gift from your DH/DW?
DH got me the really nice expensive Bose speakers/dock for my iPOD. I had mentioned them a while back, and then didn't mention them again, because I realized that I didn't want them anymore. My apartment is about the size of a box and they are not needed right now. I figured there are so many other ways the money could be better spent - they are $300 but he is mad at me!! I don't get it!
Not to mention that he didn't want an iPOD I got him last year and I returned it!

This year!! I've never been before. But I feel especially with an expensive gift from DH that I see no use for now!
The in-laws - I'm thankful for once that I can figure out where the stuff came from - other years - stuff has been thrown out!

The in-laws - I'm thankful for once that I can figure out where the stuff came from - other years - stuff has been thrown out!
I saw an Oprah show where the lady was a re-gift Guru. She kept every single thing she ever got & re-gifted it everyone else!!!

I'm exchanging something because it doesn't fit, but usually I don't have the heart to take anything back. I think eventually that wears off b/c my mother does it all the time with gifts from my father!

Oh wait, also, he bought me pjs, the bottoms fit, but then he bought me a tank top to wear with them, and it's a small I don't think even one boob would fit in it

That's what my DH said, he bought me meduim Pjs & he said he wasn't sure, but he'd rather be wrong & too small, than wrong & too big.

It would depend on how badly my DH wanted me to have the gift. If he just bought it because he thought I wanted it, I would return it. If he bought it for me because it was something he put a lot of thought into and really wanted me to have, I would keep it.

I agree with this too.
Now I have my own situation where I have been wanting a crock pot and he got me an All Clad 7 quart one! I think it'll be too big and probably way too expensive, I'd be happy with a smaller one by Rival and if I get the guts to tell him, I'm sure he'd be perfectly fine with it.

I always feel AWFUL. DH bought me a BRIGHT, I mean BRIGHT yellow Adidas Sweatshirt. The color blinds me and I know I will never wear it and I hope he got it on sale because he leaves the pricetags on it and it says $49.99. Now What do I do? $50 bucks is a lot of money for a sweatshirt I wont ever wear.
Im hoping to pull off the It doesnt fit tactic...
I have no adive, just satying your not alone, I would feel bad...
