Question about Exercise and pregnacy.
I used to to go to curves up until about october and i would like to do light weight to get my arms back in shape a little . How heavy can i use? 5lbs ok?

I was just given a routine that my doctor said was OK for me that included 5lb weights. She just said I MUST make sure that I use the weights correctly. But of course as always... show your doctor what you plan on doing and see if she/he OK's it.

Talk to your doctor before you workout. I worked out with weights & did cardio before I was PG. My doctor told me all I can do is walk because of my heart condition. I thought this was weird because I was working out with a heart condition. Talk to your doctor to see what is safe for you and what is not. Keep in mind that everyone has a different pregnancy. Therefore, what is Ok for someone else to do, might not be Ok for you.

I was doing my daily yoga routine up until I found out I was pregnant. I didn't want to risk anything with all those twists and such even with the Prenatal yoga dvd I had... I was also walking a few times per week but stopped about 6 months because I was constantly exhausted and out of breath
