BTDT Moms of colicky babies
When did you see an improvement in the crying? DS will be 7 weeks tomorrow and the crying spells have lessened but I still feel like I can't leave the house with her besides walks and to my mom's...thanks for your input...

Jack was different in that he peaked around 10-12 weeks old. It has only really gone away in the past few weeks.....It lasted until he was 4 months old but *most* kids are done with it by 3 - 3.5 months.

Right around 12 weeks. I know that sounds like a long time away right now, but it will come and pretty soon you'll forget exactly how bad it was.

Re: BTDT Moms of colicky babies
I would suggest trying a Cranial Osteopath, there is a theory that unsettled babies have some unresolved tension in the plates of their skulls and that a Cranial Osteopath often helps. I have been taking my baby to one for his basic unsettled-ness and also because his head is very flat on one side. I have noticed a difference in his temperament in 2 sessions, and a friend of mine with a colicky baby said that it worked wonders for her baby.
Cranial Osteopathy Information
I don't know exactly what they do, but I think that its working fo rus.

Alex differed from most babies... they say that most colicky babies grow out of the phase by 3 months. Unfortunately, Alex peaked at about 10-12 weeks, and it disappeared around 4 and a half/5 months... now she's an absolute dream baby
