I would say drama
it just seemed slow to me ---it could be because it was the first episode but i thought it was going to be better. I will probably give it another try next week though.

I didn't know what it was about and he was kissing all of these women. Hubby then explained the storyline to me.........very odd!

I'm not sure about it yet. The older man who is married to the child is a little too creepy. And then the way the more mainstream polygamists are kind of normal is also super creepy.

I think I'm a little sick...cause I thought the show was creepy & good at the same ytime. I made dh watch & he ws confused, but ended up liking it. The older guy & the little girl was crazy.
I don't get why Barbara(older wife) is all angry about going back to the compound and yet lives the way they do. I guess we will just have to find out.

DH didn't want to watch it but I read it had gotten 4 stars and is supposed to be a great show. But the premise seems like it could either **** you in or turn you off

Didnt watch it because I dont want to give something like this any attention.
this show reminds me of that controversal post on here about whether or not we think same sex marriages should occur- and I remember someone had mentioned that if we do it could open the door for other types of "marriages" and I believe it had to do with this.

After the show they posted a fact that about 40,000 Americans practice polygamy in this country. So I think it's an issue that does go on & it does happen. I see what you are saying, but IMO the show is different and sheds some light on this issues. It may not be positive light because some of the stuff it showed was crazy.

We watched-Pilots are always boring because they are trying to do character development. We will def. watch next week. Barb does not live the same life as teh compund because they are not involved in the church oficially. yes they are polygamists but they did not want their girls married at 13 to these sick old men. I went to school in AZ and was around a lot of people who had left the Mormon church so I am interested to see where this would go. It seems like a very stressful life to me.
