Feeding a 4 month old...I don't remember
what the doctor told me. I've started Roman on Rice cereal at night but I don't remember how much I'm supposed to feed him and how long until I move on to other cereals. I didn't want to call the office and sound like an azz. What do you girls think?

I just eyeballed an amount - It's more for practice right now than nutrition. start with really liquidy and you can thicken it up as he gets used to it.
I waited 1 week to try oatmeal and then barley, btu I think you only have to wait 3 days

I started Sofia last weekend on Rice Cereal and been giving it to her 1x/day (1 Tbls=4tbls formula). They say just to give it for 3 days to ensure no allergic reaction but i will give it to her up until today and start on Rice Oatmeal for a week. I think after that you can start Stage 1 foods.

Re: Feeding a 4 month old...I don't remember
Chris, one tip, my doctor told me to start new things during the day so that you can monitor how they are reacting. We started Sydney on Sweet Potatoes yesterday and she has had it 2x so far and both times crazy poop after. I was a little concerned and the dr. said it sounds fine but just to be on the safe side go one more full day with the sweet potatoes. He also said that now we know what yo give her if she is ever having the opposite problem.
