This may sound silly...
But does anyone rent an apartment and are pregnant?? Did you check with your landlord to see if they would basically allow a baby?? I know it sounds weird, but a lot of people don't like to rent to people that have kids, let alone a screaming baby. I want to start trying soon, and I don't know if I should kinda run it by her. Our plac enow is huge and definitely roomy enough for a baby, so I don't want to move, if necessary definitely will. Anyone have a situation like this??

We rent in a private house. it is the 1st floor of a high ranch. When i found out I was pregnant I was terrified because i knew she was not going to allow it which at 1st she said no but since has changed her mind. She just raised the rent a little. It is hard to find a place that rents unless it is an apartment building.

I rent- but in a 12 story building in Manhattan. I did mention I was having a baby because when we renewed our lease we told them we were concerned about maybe wanting to find a bigger place before the lease was up.
In NYC, they can't discriminate against you for having a baby.

We rent now but are in the process of house hunting so we hope to be out well before the baby is born.

We rent an apartment in a 2 family house and our landlord is behind happy for us.
