Arian Bird Flu – How serious do you think this threat of a pandemic is?
My boss' brother is freaking out about it and is certain that it will become a pandemic. There was a confirmed outbreak in birds just south of Moscow in Russia. I'm just wonder what everyone else thinks about it.

I am worried! I am worried about my kids before myself, of course. I hope if it cant be erraticated that it just sticks to birds and does not transmit human to human!!

i think we are in store for a pandemic- whether it is this flu or not- we are certainly over due- the last major flu pandemic was what, 1918?
I think it's really going to be kids & old people that will be affected, and those in ill health. It's going to be a major problem.

I am a pharmaceutical sales rep and I am getting at least 7 calls a day from physicians who are requesting Tamiflu samples. I work for the company who manufactures it and they set up special operations just for this year!!!!!

I am quite nervous about it- I am asthmatic and even though I have not had to be hospitalized for two years I still stress about it. I also worry about my ILs and my folks and my nana since they are older. This is scary to me- I am trying not to think about it.
