I wanted to head into the city, DH was so against it. So now we are going to a house party in LI.

I did too...but its too $$$....
Ive never been in the city on New Years eve, but i dont think ill like the crowd too much anyways.....

We have a few party invites (mostly family) but I think that we will probably just hit one party and come home early and ring in the new year together

I think the forecast is freezing rain, snow sleet combo, so that helped make the decision. The money was another factor as well. My sister's friends needed a chaperone to South Beach, so DH said with the money that I save this weekend to buy my ticket. I am fine with that!
