eating habits and fat storage
I remember hearing that fat storage in the body is dependent on the type of food you ate...ie dairy products are "stored" in the abdomen, carbs in the hips/thighs.
anyone know anything about this....debunking or corroborating this theory? thanks.

I think that sounds like a bunch of crap.
Where you store your fat probably depends more on genetics.

I remember reading a book years ago, Outsmarting the Female Fat Cell - it mentioned that foods like peas would promote fat storage in certain parts of the female body (I don't remember why; haven't read it in a while).
But I don't believe that; I think that it's genetic.
