A sweet little poem DH wrote me yesterday for our 2 year anniversary
Just wanted to share a little sweet poem DH wrote for me yesterday.
It’s been two years today when we exchanged those sacred vows
Since then you’ve put up with my jokes, my “ways”, even Lucy’s Meows
Marriage is not just a word, it’s a relationship that grows and grows
It’s finding a way to smile, whether it’s enjoying the highs or the lows
Things have been wonderful, and there are still tons of things to do
I can’t wait to continue life’s journey, especially knowing it’s with you
Two years have come and gone, but they’ve been two years of joy
We’ve been running around and laughing, like a little girl and boy
We’ve found a way to say “Sorry” whenever we are wrong
We’ve found a way to take a few words and change it into a song
Being there for you is very important to me
Understanding each other will always be the key
When I’m feeling down, I can so often count on you to turn things around
Being there for me is something you have done
Our first two years together have been wonderful, pretty, and fun
When you’re feeling down, I know you know I’ll help turn things around
I wrote this poem today, on the sixth of July
On the day our two-year anniversary, let’s continue to fly
Let’s conquer new goals, together as a team
And let’s remain that little girl and boy, and live each other’s dreams

thanks guys! He really is a sweetie, drives me up a wall sometimes but he's still a sweetie...I want to frame it but it's all folded up. He folded it.
Since we are going on the cruise next weekend we agreed not to get each other anything. We just went out to dinner. I got him a card with some scratch off tickets. I got him 10 of them and 5 were winners...he won $8 and two quick picks! woo hoo
