How long was everyone's baby in the infant carrier

DH and I finally added the infant carrier except after adding it I am starting to think we may not need the one to match the stroller because the Peg Preggo one is $229 and it seems alot for a carrier especially if the baby wil not be in it for more than 5 months. I was thinking of getting the snap and go and then Snugride. Do you think this makes sense to do.

That sounds good. Are you going to have the snug ride immediatly though because if you want to go walking on nice days you really cant with the snap n go. I have teh Prego but only because I had it with my son. I probably will not even use it I will use the snap n go instead with this baby

My son outgrew (due to height) the infant carrier at about 3.5 months! I had hoped we'd get more use out of it--since I prefer it to the larger carseat!!

I have to disagree, you can go walking with the Snap n Go. I use it when I shop in the mall and it wheels around nicely. I have a Graco travel system and right now the only time I use the stroller is when I am somewhere and Hayley needs a place to sleep. I use the Snap n Go all the time!

thats what I did..I got the Snugride and Snap and Go..I plan on using it all the time when we are out..

I will then get the Bumbleride stroller later on..

I guess for long walks i would put the baby in the stroller anyway so I think I will change everything. Thanks guys

My gf that is due in Jan got the snugride for her Venezia stroller. She couldn't see spending the money on the carrier especially since they just raised the price(she has the Snap N Go also)........I got the snugrige but I also have the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System.........

I used my Peg Viaggio infant seat right in the Venezia stroller, I saw no need to get the Snap and Go.

Andrew only lasted 3 months in the infant seat though because he was a big baby. After that, we went to the Britax marathon and used the Venezia stroller. Not having the Snap and Go was a good option for me.

I registered for the Pliko3 but it just seems like so much money for the Primo Viaggo car seat its 229. Orginnally I wanted the peg preggo carrrier and stroller that way i could just sanp the carrier into the stroller but it just seems like so much.

My kids were in their infant carrier until they were almost a year old! My pediatrician advised me to keep them in there for as long as possible and not to go by the height (my kids are all long) but by the weight. (they can stay in the infant car seat until they reached 20 pounds).

WE bought the zippy for our stroller but Jacob is in the snap and go with snugride right now. We will be going into month 4 with the snap and go and I love it. I go everywhere with it. When it was nicer in September and October I walked all over the neighborhood with him


I hope to keep him in there as long as I can ( hopefully though the winter) so I don't have to buy a winter coat when I switch. We use the bundle me right now...

Sarah was in the infant carrier (Snug Ride) until about 5 months. Then she was over 26 inches and we had to switch her. Her feet were hanging out and I was concerned that she'd be injured in an accident.

I used the Snap N Go all the time when she was in the carrier. It was great, I really miss it!
