For those doing acupuncture

With all the talk of acupuncture...I decided to look into it. My insurance doesn't cover it (at least not the plan my company has)....so I called a few places and the average was about $180/session. This seemed way high compared to what you other ladies have posted. Should I be asking for a specific kind of treatment or anything? At that price...I cannot do this...it will be too costly. Let me know....thanks.

Kim -- My guy does an hour appt. and the price is $75 a session. Or is it $85? I forget...but $180 is really high. Where are you located??

I'm in NJ. I will try to call a few more places....or maybe I will ask my RE if they have any recommendations.

WHOA! That does seem high. Mine is 75 per session...or 60 if I pay for 10 sessions in advance.

I found a guy in my twon...consult was $75, sessions were$50. That was with a 10-15% discount with my insurance, but still not high before the discount..

That does seem high. My place charges $65 a session with the IVF discount. It goes up when they do egg retrievel and transfers.
