Construction on a Sunday morning!!!!!!
Is there a time when construction is supposed to start on a Sunday???
I think during the week it's 8am, correct?
There's nothing like waking up on a nice Sunday morning (when my baby actually wanted to snooze late) to the LOUD banging, drilling, and sawing of construction workers on this MONSTROSITY of a house they're building across my way. They started at 7:58am.

I think its everyday after 8am....Im guessing that they are backed up because of the rain,..thats why they are working on a Sunday!

I feel your pain. I live in Queens where they can start at 7:00am. People are buying houses left and right and knocking them down for these ugly McMansions. I can't stand it anymore. My next door neighborhood died and already there is talks about a developer buying it and putting up a 3 Family home. Needless to say, I can't wait to sell my house.

We had this with landscapers last weekend at 7:30am....they were doing the cleanup next door and were there for hours!!!

Or how about your neighbor at 8am powerwashing thier house with that huge generator that sounds 100x louder than a lawn mower! what is wrong with people???????

It depends on what is in the noise ordinance in your town code. You can probably find it somewhere on your town's website.

The problem is when you have kids like mine getting up at 5am, by 8am it feels like noon and forget it is still early!!

In our town you are not allowed to do any construction on sundays. Call your town hall to find out what your town code is.
