Re: anyone get/have a davinci crib?

As the mother of a 15 month old that sleeps in the Emily crib. I don't recommend them. Yes it is super study which it should be for 300 plus dollars. But attaching a mobile, or any of the fisher price toys is a pain and will scratch it. Also in general it dents and scratches really easily. We are gentle with it but we have had guests whose rings, jean rivets, belts, watches have knicked it. Also my son is a great teether but he uses his crib and it looks digusting now and I won't be able to use it as convertible furniture.

I'm nervous about this happening with my crib too, and it was almost $1000. When Luca starts teething I'm going to have to cover the rails so he doesn't ruin them. I know that my nickname is Beave (short for Beaver) because I always used my crib at a teething ring.

Also it is strong. My son is 25lbs and Dh is 180lbs and it is holding both there weight easily.

Here is a picture of Dh and my son in the crib.. lol My son is ****** Dh is in his crib. You can see the damage to the side from teething and the damage from scratches, dents on the rounded party on the front.

Becareful I purchased those and Jack would just rip them off and then use those to bat at his crib causing further little dents. lol
