Does anyone know about how much those xm sat. radios cost?

i'm getting DH the sirius one so i assume they are similar in price, i'm getting him the plug an play system where he can take into the car then take in into the house, with 1 year paid in full it's about $200-$240

That's not so bad. When you say paid in full for 1 year, I'm assuming there's a subscription. Sorry if i seem dumb, but I know nothing about these things other than that's where Howard Stern is going to.

Yup, there's a monthly fee on top of the cost of the equipment. You get a break on the fee if you pay for a year (or more) upfront.
If you want Howard, make sure to get Sirrus, not XM. They have different programming content.
