NYC School Teachers
I want to find out more info regarding working at the afterschool programs a lot of Asian students go to. I have several children telling me about their Chinese schools and after-school places and don't know how to google them. Anyone have the names of these programs?
ETA: I know of Kumon, which has several locations in Queens. Has anyone worked for them?

Re: NYC School Teachers
We have some chinese students in our gifted 1st grade program and I know that two of them go to Chinese school nights and weekends where they are learning to be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Chinese. I will ask the gifted teacher if she knows where they recieve this program from for you tomorrow. I work in Brooklyn so I'm assuming they go to programs somewhere in brooklyn or queens.

I work in the Bronx, but I bet a lot of these programs are in/around Flushing. Maybe take a walk around Main St. and/or call some of the churches? I bet they run a lot of educational programs.
