how do you girls all know when your showers are??

I dont even know if I am having one
I hope so because we need a lot of stuff I registered and gave the cards to my Mom but she cant afford to give me a shower so I have no clue now
how do all of you know the EXACT date and time and all????

I don't know - and I don't want to know outright.
But......I find myself trying to decipher what my DH, MIL and Mom say about weekend plans. I am sure they have it planned (I am 29 weeks) because they asked me for my address list. I wonder..... hmmm

My family can't keep a secret if they tried It doesn't help that I'm nosey and ask lots of questions. I knew relatively early b/c my friend from CA wanted to come in and could only come 2 weekends in Sept - so it was easy to narrow it down!!! Plus I'm not fond of surprises!

I actually saw my moms phone# on my SIL's fridge (DH's sis) so I kind of think they are in contact but I am not sure

I told my family that I didn't want a surprise, just like I did with my Bridal shower. I'm not big on being surprised and it made it a lot easier on everyone.

I also told my family I didn't want it to be a surprise. They tried for my bridal shower and it just didn't work. I like it better this way, now I can help!

I pretty much planned my whole shower, so there was no surprise there. My bridal shower was supposed to be a surprise, but noone was able to pull it off.

I helped plan the entire thing. It's terrible, but I think I'm a control freak. I really wanted something specific and was kinda disappointed in my bridal shower, so I stepped in and kinda took over. I let my sister and SIL do some stuff though. Plus we live in Chicago and the shower was in NY, so we had to plan ahead.

Hehe- for my last baby shower- I had to help my mom with her email- she lives in Ohio and obviously we are on LI- so I was on her email and I saw confirmation emails from an airline and emails from my MIL about the shower- my mom didn't mean for me to see them- she forgot they were there. So- when she called me and asked me whether I had fixed her email account- I told her I didn't have time to do it, so she wouldn't know that I knew. I didn't want to ruin it for her!
