Spinoff/Repost from Preg: Calling the Dr

For those that don't look over on the Preg. board I could use some advice.

Towards the end of your pregnancy how often did you call the dr when you were cramping/contracting?

I was having cramps starting friday night so Saturday I went in and they said I was contracting. I went in Monday because that's when he wanted to see me next. Same thing...on the monitor I was contracting but they were minor.

So now its Tuesday, and I have been having cramps again. Do I call him or do I wait? I always seem to wait till after office hours and get sent to the L&D for nothing.

I don't want to be a pain with the dr.

I called ALL the time, I was a PITA, and it was a GOOD thing because I had predonal labor and the cord was wrapped around DD's shoulders. Use your instinct, and call! That is why you chose your doctor, so that they would be there for you when these things come up. Good Luck and {{{{{{{{LABOR VIBES}}}}}}}}}

Thanks. I hate feeling like I'm overreacting. But then again I think this is someone's life and I don't want to underreact.
