Carpet and Hard wood Floors quotes
Has anyone had carpet installed at a reasonable price?? Or hard wood floors sanded and polished?? Please share any recommendations, would really appreciate it!!!!!!

we had our hardwood floors refinished before we moved into our 3 bedroom ranch. we paid 1,500

We had carpet installed by home depot in our den and down the basement stairs. I have no complaints and I thought they were reasonable. (Lowes was more $$)

We had our floors done a few months ago.
1130 sq feet and stair case... 3 coats poly and repair work (some of the sub floor had termite damage) plus install a 9 ft. long bullnose $2500.
4th and 5th coat poly (yeah, I'm a nut) $600.
We had the entire job done for $3000 cash
Same job, no repair and 3 coats of poly probably low $2000.
It would be a lot more $$ to carpet the same amount of space.

Thanks!!! I think we have 300 sq feet to be re done-and our quote was around 500-I guess that is reasonable!!! :)
